Buy a CD or Vinyl record and get 90 days free Amazon Music Unlimited You can hardly go wrong with Philip Glass, and you can't help but enjoy the music, and possibly the novel experience of listening to an opera with no words. I have the tape of Airplanes on the Roof, but now I have the CD. So happy to have it with me, because this /5(12).
  9. Keramar says:
Airplanes on the Roof is one of the lesser Philip Glass creations. Compared to such weighty masterpieces as Einstein on the Beach or Satyagraha (or even my recent favourite, Civil Wars), this music drama is insignificant and worthless, with music that would make critics of Glass' work in general shudder with horror.
